The Objective

Increase applications for insurance groups Life Cover and Critical Illness, both in branch and online, specifically targeting first time buyers and young families.


The Solution

A mortgage process management app that allows users to edit, manage and track their home buying experience.


Surfacing the benefits and cost of protection to the user in a helpful, honest and transparent way. Using technology to make the process of getting a mortgage and the relevant protection as frictionless as possible.

  • The design language is deliberately friendly and conversational. This adds a touch of humanity to an otherwise dry and difficult subject.

  • The app is designed to be a companion, not a salesman. Buying a house is stressful, this app makes some of that process simple to understand and manage. Thus building trust in the brand.

  • Life insurance is incorporated as a key step in the process, not an afterthought.

  • The information, facts and figures are all readily available. Giving the user the chance to think, tweak and modify their data, depending on the changing value of a property etc.
